The shorts feel really nice, comfortable and thin. Nothing like the old school type polyester. Tho it does wrinkle a bit. The main issue lies in the color, i keep ordering one color, only to receive a different one. I love the fit and the length of the shorts. I wear medium in all my clothes, am 5’8” , 160 pounds. I bought medium and they fitted very lose… read on the questions chat, everyone is giving different options,,, about the size and is very confused… These really are nice shorts, and I DO like them. But I have to knock a star off for one issue:The knife pockets are way too inset. 5.11 Taclite/ABR pants/shorts are an example of a PERFECTLY positioned knife pocket. On the Propper, they are way too close to the crotch, and it can make sitting down uncomfortable with any knife larger than a Para 3. Also, the material they use for the pockets doesn't seem as tough as the pant material. And speaking of 5.11, they put a knife pocket on the right side and a mag pouch on the left. To me, that's ideal. While I am not opposed to dual knife pockets, it would be nice to see something like that. Are these great shorts? Yes. They are. They're comfortable, they seem durable, they do a GREAT job of keeping your shirt tucked in, better than any other company out there. They line the waist with this silicone-like strip that will whistle if your run your finger over it. Time will tell how long that strip will last, though. For as long as it will, it does a GREAT job of keeping your shirt tucked in.I really do like them, and I will likely buy more. But it would be nice if they beefed up the material on the knife pocket and moved it an inch or so to the right. I had six pairs of shorts on a 21 day cruise but these quickly became my favorites. They were lightweight with a bit of stretch and stayed nice looking but still rugged. With the Velcro pockets I felt reasonably secure from pickpockets. I really like that the pocket flaps don’t flip up and wing out, they stay lying flat. The front pockets are deep enough for an iPhone 13 Pro Max and have a nice loop handle for easy opening. I unexpectedly found that I very much like the small pocket behind a pocket on the right thigh it securely held my room card key but was easily accessed without opening a flap, see photo. I intend to buy more pairs in different colors. Super comfortable, cool look, durable. My husband found these to be very comfortable, and fit perfectly.Lots of pockets for a men's stuff like wallet, keys. etc.Breathable material so not too hot. I'm 6'3" and wear a size 34. The 34 fit great. They don't sit slightly below the knee as the tag says, they sit right at the top of the knee like in the product picture. The material is very light and flexible. These are extremely comfortable and allow much more movement without resistance than a lot of other swimwear I've owned. They don't have the mesh lining, which was odd to me at first, but it's way more comfortable and it's a close enough fit that you probably won't be giving anyone a free show unless they're trying real hard. They dry VERY quickly. The fly has a stretchy bit of fabric covering it, so no surprise appearances and the draw string, while a bit flimsy, seems to hold fast. The color is great! Very simple, yet eye-catching.The price is a little steep for a midwesterner that only gets a few months use out of them. Still not bad for the comfort and quality, though. Amazing comfort and looks. Typically my husband wears his Lee cargo shorts to work. He does building maintenance, which means he gets himself into some really hot and dirty places. I bought these for vacation, so he might have some less beat up looking shorts to wear to dinner. He loves the comfort of the Lees extreme shorts and jeans as his wasteline has grown with his chronological age. The waist isn’t as binding as regular shorts when he is squeezing into tight places, or bending over. I did not read the description thoroughly when I purchased these. I was amazed when in the resort I opened these and instead of bulky cotton these were silky feeling and lightweight. He looked awesome in them when going out and to dinner. And in the Florida heat they were comfortable and light. Another happy accident ! Pretty sure these are used, as I found a receipt in back pocket from a month ago for a cafe in Quebec, and I live in Ontario Pretty sure these are used, as I found a receipt in back pocket from a month ago for a cafe in Quebec, and I live in Ontario I bought these because I had ordered a black and navy shorts. These were heavy duty material, good for biking or about anything else. I assumed this color would be the same. It is not. It is much thinner material. It is a 10" inseam and I can still use them, but not good quality.
