First pair I purchased ripped on right side of the front. Amazon replaced with no questions and that pair is still going strong 6 months later. Good quality We have come to count on the comfortable, sharp looking fit of these Wrangler cargo shorts. They look great and wear well for my hard working, truck driving husband. I usually buy 2 pairs of these Ranger Cargo Shorts at a time, and don't need to replace them for about 2 years. Usually because I start thinking a seam may give way. The pockets are spacious and well designed, with a piece of reinforcing fabric inside the shorts at the top of the back pockets. In an area with hot, humid weather for much of the year the ventilation made possible by the relatively generous cut of the Ranger Short provides a bit of comfort for an area that typically doesn't get much in the way of cooling breezes. These are meant to be a skinny straight modern look, and my thighs are sizeable since I squat a lot, these feel quite soft against the body, and stretch amazingly, the only downside is that the material doesn't feel like a strong, thick material, but aside from that these are quite good for ~20 when I bought it. A little big has a lot of pockets big plus but not as advertise in pictures. See Headline I bought three pairs of these pants and they are all very different! They were all the same size waist and length and they were all different sizes. I fixed that with a hem job but the part that gets me is all the pockets are sewn different. That secondary pocket meant for a flashlight or a pocket knife is completely useless on one pair. And all three pairs This particular pocket is either sewn way too loose or way too tight. I really feel like I'm Goldilocks and the Three bears!Only one of the pairs of pants is acceptable The other two not so much! Threads are coming apart velcro is coming apart and the cargo pockets are worthless. The flap is sewn at such an angle that it makes it impossible to open one handed. Frustrating to say the least and had I not got all three pairs hemmed at the tailor I would have definitely returned them! It's insane to me that they all say they were manufactured and the same place of origin but one pair is straight legged and the other two look like MC Hammer pants!I dodged a bullet with these because I'm currently on the night shift and I'm the sole officer on post. Had it been a day shift these pants would have been too ridiculous to wear and would never have met department requirements! If you're reading this and you're wondering what size waist go down a few sizes. They expand real wide. I ordered two full sizes down and they're still way too big! These are not the True spec of yesterday and embarrassing to say the least. These are very hit or miss you're taking your chances. If you wear the wrangler workwear jeans.. these are NOT the same size! The cut and size are off and you will need to size up for them to fit. Very comfortable, everyday wear, but I use it for walks and workouts specifically, zippered pockets are really handy for calisthenic workouts, keep belongings from falling out. I bought my husband and son Tru-Spec Men's BDU Pant for work a couple years ago and they loved them. I copied and pasted the exact pants and these are what we got. Definitely not the same. They are durable but thick and stiff and a bit scratchy. This version will due for now but I will definitely continue the quest for our original purchase. First, I think it's important to note that I'm weird about what materials my clothes are made out of. I prefer buying clothes made of cotton rather than plastics like most are nowadays. With that said, that's how I found these shorts. I needed a pair of khaki shorts that weren't going to break the bank but were also made of cotton (at least close to 100%). I didn't expect to find that Dockers was one of the few options, if there were others at all.So far, these are my favorite pair of shorts. I don't think I should say they're perfect, but they're about as close as you can get!The materials are tough and of good quality. The pockets are good and even has a little divider in it (can separate keys from spare change, for example), and the color doesn't really fade all that much with washes and use. The fit is about right for me, although maybe I would like them to be a little shorter (I usually wear 29 inseam pants as an example). I wore these to work by accident once, and even through all the physical work that I do, it was the most comfortable pair of shorts/pants that I've ever worn to work and it was durable too. These shorts are my go-to for the summer. When these are too dirty to wear, I always feel like I'm at a loss. Looks like I need to get more! There were enough leg holes for my legs. And they sit low enough on my hips that I can pretend that I am still a hip and with it 20 something. Amazing shorts. Will buy more
