I went with the military green, because I am actually Irish, and my family crest, Boyle, has green (and yellow) in it. Its really a quality kilt for the price. Its simple, but it does have a few nice touches, like the logo patch on the side and the brass rings/buttons. The pockets are quite large and convenient. You can definitely store your phone/keys/wallet and the kilt seems to retain its dignified shape.Size: I read a lot of reviews and got all jumbled up with size. People said they ran small, so I got an XL, but it was way too big. I am 6'2" and 240, with most of that weight in my chest, back and arms. I am a size 38-40 and wear my pants (and this kilt) on my hips, and found that Large fit just right. They appear to only have one length, luckily at my height, it was right around my knees. Anywho....just measure like they suggest and you should be able to order the correct size.Side story:I first wore this kilt to the Renaissance Faire in Bristol and received quite a few compliments. I enjoy that its a solid color, not plaid or anything fancy. It gives it a genuine, everyday quality. I felt super badass when I did the sledge hammer bell ringing contest and rang the bell 5 out 5 times wearing my kilt and celtic clan colors. I had the crowd behind me and was taunting the larger fellows who couldn't keep up with my kilted awesomeness. I think at this point my girlfriend finally impressed by my kilt, and equally embarrassed. Be warned, this kilt adds to any inner badassery, and you might it difficult to contain. The wash instructions indicate this sweater needs to washed on a light cycle, and air dried (not dried in a tumble dryer). Despite doing this however, this sweater STILL fell apart after ONE wash. I brought two of these sweaters, and the other one held up fine, so don't know why this one didn't...? I got to wear this sweater ONCE. The window with Amazon had already closed to return it, so I was, and am, very annoyed to waste $30, and the seller - if they read this - should at the very least give me a credit to purchase another one. They are nice sweaters, (great for the winter months), but the wash instructions are a hassle for busy working people, and evidently, even if you follow them, the sweater may still may fall apart (the seam on one side completely came unstitched!), and still won't allow you to wear it more than once! I don't recommend these sweaters. I would have given five stars had the side slits not been so stressed. The top is very stretchy which causes the slits to open to a "V" on the sides. I would not trade it for a million others unless they were Damn near Kilt 'em Kilts. I have never had a company with the most excellent customer service as this company. they will go the extra mile to make it good. If you have never worn a kilt or are considering it. I say what are you waiting for the only thing you will lose is the discomfort of traditional pants that pinch ad bind in all the wrong spots. set your boys free and get a kilt. the quality is 5 stars! go ahead you won't regret it. I'm a bit of a sucker for 'cheap' tops & this totally exceeded my expectations. I was mainly worried about length, going by the size chart. It can be hard for us taller women to find tops that are long enough. I am 5'9, 132lbs. I can wear this with low rise jeans & not have to worry about bending over & showing my crack lol. The material is thick enough to not be see through, but not so heavy that it would be too warm either. It's very soft and the stitching is also quality. It has a slimmer fit & is very flattering. I first ordered a medium in dark grey and it fits really well, this time I tried a small & it also fits great, due to the stretch in the fabric. I wear a small or medium, depending on brand..so I would recommend just ordering your regular size. My measurements are: 36" 28" 37". Order it! You will not be disappointed! This sweatshirt is made with weird cheap material not sweatshirt material. Washed it and the color bled into the white. Waste of money. I have purchased a few clothing items from Amazon and have gotten items like this before so I probably will not purchase clothing again on this sight. This cardigan is perfect for jeans or leggings. I’m 5’4” and 183 lbs. I got the L and it fit perfect.
