Felt a little tight in my thighs but okay Love the color. Wish this had another pocket other than the back one so I can wear around town and have a place for wallet phone and keys. Fit is good slightly smaller through the butt area (I do have a big butt) but other than that these are great. This product is very comfortable. Wrangler quality, last pair wore well for a long time. I'm 6'2" 214#. 36 waist and 26.5" thighs. I bought a Large. They fit nice, but a touch loose. I also wouldn't mind if they were an inch short in length. I'm the type of gym guy who likes his shorts on the fitted side. I wouldn't mind trying on a Medium and see if they fit more complimentary to my liking. Carhartt has always been one of my go to brands. I've learned over the years that Carhartt produces quality clothing, that is true to size, durable, and comfortable. And as a bigger guy I can usually find the sizes that fit me perfectly! I bought these because I had ordered a black and navy shorts. These were heavy duty material, good for biking or about anything else. I assumed this color would be the same. It is not. It is much thinner material. It is a 10" inseam and I can still use them, but not good quality. I own Tru-Spec tactical shorts. They are marked as such, and the quality, fit and features are outstanding. I received these shorts, and they are not as advertised. The material is very thin. There are no Tru-Spec markings, as shown in the photo; nor on any part of the garment. These shorts are an apparent knockoff and I'm returning them for a refund. I’m 5’9” and 165lbs so originally ordered a medium which is my usual size. The medium was way too loose so I returned the medium and ordered a size small. The small fits like in the pictures and is much more comfortable. I bought these for comfortable shorts to wear around the house. They are a little “showy” if you’re blessed, but not so much if you wear underwear with them, but they are for comfort around the house so I’m ok with it. These shorts are comfortable and fit like the advertised pictures if you order a size down. I gave these a 4 because with the stretch there is a little less strength than the carhart cargo shorts. I wear a 34 in the carhart cargo shorts and these fit the same. The stretchyness also gives the boys below a safe space when bending down or squating. I would wear these around but not in the woods fishing or hunting where you had any possibility in walking through thick brush. Runs small in waist. Order size up My son's favorite shorts for back to school. I love Amazon. it is comfortable for working out and the size fits correctly Fit as expected
