The crotch seam on my pair was poorly stitched, and came apart after a couple of uses. Shorts fine once my wife re-stitched them. Love these shorts. I own two pair and my husband just got the XLs. I’ve never had luck with MTB shirts fitting and being comfortable till I found these. I wear my road cycling bibs under them for cushion. I'm 59 years old and buy a lot of shorts, swim trunks here on amazon. While they look and fit well I wasn't expecting them to NOT have a zipper. I.E., shorts have a fly, or so I thought, and swim trunks do not.I'll probably by another pair and recommend this purchase as long as you're aware of the zipper issue.Elastic works well with my fluctuating weight and height, 6'-4" 215-238 lbs. Bought these based on the material description that it was a blended fabric: 60% cotton,40% polyester. However, it 100% cotton. Still a good product but will fade quicker than expected. Thankfully the price is cheap enough to justify keeping them. Fit a little bit more snug than my other 7 pocket Harvic shorts. Bought these for a cosplay. Bought a small.They came in good quality/fabric. Not too scratchy which is a problem I find with many of my online clothing purchases.Only downside was that they had a longer inseam than I was expecting. I wish it was listed in the product details. Love the texture of the cotton twill soft to the touch and the thickness gives it a sturdiness that should help it last. The length is just about right for the contemporary fit -- couple of inches above the knee -- along with the tapered legs it doesn't give off that boxy looks some shorts tend to have depending on your body shape. Great fit! White and blue golf polo looks great with these deep red shorts. Highly recommend. I purchased these in an attempt to replace my older cargo shorts that I have had for many years. My older cargo shorts were 6 inch inseam and I couldn't find the same brand any more. These Guide Gear Cargo shorts are made of good heavy fabric and I love the 6 inch inseam. I am average height for a male but I don't want shorts that hang down to my knees. These fit nicely and are comfortable. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am not a fan of the pockets in the back. They work but the there is just a small piece of velcro that hold them closed. I would have prefered a nice button flap over the back pockets. Very comfortable, I recommend These pants are awesome... my favorite pair now Not true to size runs very small no picture we returned the item Love these. Stretchy on the front for comfort but look great. The cuffs on the shorts are aggravating. These are quality trunks but you should buy one size larger than you normally fit as they are 1-2 inches smaller than advertised.
