My son and husband love to wear compression shorts underneath their basketball shorts-especially when running or playing basketball. And I won't beat around the bush-quality compression products aren't cheap. A decent pair of shorts could run anywhere between 20-60 dollars; enter these.When I originally saw the price, I wasn't sure what to expect. In my experience, the cheaper ones tend to stretch out quickly, with the fibers losing their elasticity. I grabbed these thinking if they last the high school basketball season-I'll be happy. Imagine my surprise when here we are, months later and these are still going strong. They've become our son's favorites to wear when he goes for a run, or shoots and practices his defense with Dad. They are thin enough that they don't feel bulky around his hips and knees, but sturdy enough to provide warmth when it's a bit chiller at night. I've washed these countless times, and I don't notice any thinning of the material at all.The price is great, and I would say these fit true to size. Our son is about 6'2" and between 165-175 and he comfortably wears a medium. I am truly happy with these and can't recommend them enough Great pair of shorts! Much please with order. Ok good price. DO NOT BUY, within 2 weeks stitching gave out on back pocket and my wallet was lost. These are not the same as the older higher quality Gerry shorts, these are so cheap. I'm seriously frustrated, I will post a picture later but the back pocket is not really a pocket, just a piece of fabric stitched onto the rear, not a pocket with it's own stitching, it's like a patch with no reinforcement, so when the single stitch cotton thread unravels, whatever is in your pocket drops straight out, for me that was my wallet. I'm really freaking angry.I had a pair of Gerry shorts before these that I loved and lasted thru a lot of wear and tear, when they finally became two worn out I ordered two more pairs thinking to stock up, when they arrived they looked very similar but much lighter in weight, looked much poorer quality but I figured i would give them a shot rather than return, big mistake. Bot even two weeks and the stitching gave out on the cheap bottom of back pocket and my wallet fell thru. Front cargo pockets are similar. I dont know what happened to Gerry, if they got bought out and switched to making crap, or if they just having business troubles and cut quality, but i noticed they dont seem to have their products sold in retail stores any more, which is a shame because the old pair of stretch shorts was the best pair I've ever had, while these are without a doubt the worst. great Shorts are good quality. I had to return them for a smaller size as they were quite big. Service from company 1st class. Got my replacement shorts within a few days of return Excellent jeans for the price. They fit true to size. If you get the darker colored ones make sure to wash them by their self for the first wash. These should last a good long while. I am a 31 waist, and 30 shorts are great. This is my 2nd pair, first was bought at Costco. Seem like a good low maintenance high performance shorts. Graduation from cargo cotton shorts has commenced. I have these shorts in 5 different colors. They are comfortable and very true to size. I will be ordering more!!!
