Comfortable The price was outstanding, the fit was absolutely spot on, pockets were deep enough and the length was perfect at the bottom of the knee ;but the material was a little on the cheap side, Got a hole in the side seam after wearing them 1 time. The short feel real good the only problem. Went with the size chart says medium but a small would have been better. But other then the size being slightly off. Super soft, love the inside of the shorts with the tight fit. Love the price, always love Levi products! I ordered these pants to use for hiking and amateur field herpetology. I have used them a handful of times now, and so far they have exceeded my expectations. The flexible waistband is very comfortable. The cargo and rear pockets are easy to use as they only have one velcro tab - super helpful if you need urgent, one-handed access to your pockets. The velcro strap on the ankle helps secure the pants over your boots, so you don't end up with a bunch of debris in your shoes. It also gives the pants a badass tapered look. The material seems durable and deflects thorns decently, but it's also breathable enough that I'm not uncomfortable when temps are high 80s...haven't had the opportunity to try them in hotter temps yet. I also like that the pockets are reinforced for knife/flashlight clips. The cell phone pocket fits my Samsung Galaxy perfectly, but I do wish this pocket was on the right pant leg as well.My only gripe is the price - $80 is excessive. They are almost twice the price of the 5.11s I usually wear, which are quality pants themselves. They're solid pants, but the additional features (velcro strap, reinforced pocket, single velcro pocket closures) just don't justify doubling the price of solid competitors. Fits a little tighter in the waist than I'd hoped but the material and length is PERFECT so I can't complain. It's not super stretchy either but I still love them No ironing needed. These fit perfectly and are great for work shorts or outdoors. The fabric is light and wicks away moisture well. My only complaint is that after about two months, the fabric did start to form pills on the thighs. Aside from the pilling, I haven't had any issues with these shorts.
