Absolutely love this item. Paired with a lightweight long sleeve t shirt it is comfy and warm. I love the hood for days when it is windy and cool. Very satisfied with this purchase. Product arrived as pictured. I am 5’8 180 pounds. Sweater comes right to top of pants, not too long and not too short. I love that I can dress it up with slack or a skirt or keep it casual and pair with jeans. Its super soft and cozy. Haven't washed it yet so not sure how it holds up. Very happy with my purchase, the kilt is well made with durable materials This is my Third kilt from Damn Near Kilt'em... my 3rd not because they wear out, but because they are that awesome I need other colors. This review is for my blue kilt that I wear when I am in my Cub Scout leader uniform. This kilt is the perfect weight for utility wear. The pockets are deep and will hold keys, cellphone, small child... etc. the cloth is the perfect weight, while normally scout say "Wool is cool, cotton is rotten", I like the cotton in this kilt. It wears well and is a good length. Took me a few tries to get the washing right, I was drying them in the dryer with other cloths but I found that letting it dry on a line helps keep the pleats in shape better. It's a little long. I am 5'8" 128 lbs and got the medium. I am short waisted so it is about 4 inches too long on me, but I'm keeping it because that's the only thing I don't like. If you are long waisted, it should be fine.I also got purple, which is a true purple and plum, which is actually hot pink. I usually have a hard time fitting shorts. I have long legs and a narrow waist. These shorts are perfect for the tall and skinny. They don't swallow me at all and rest comfortably right at or above my knee. The colors are muted so that they are obnoxiously bold. The fabric is durable and I have yet to put a tear in any of my Volcom shorts. The pockets are deep enough so that my stuff doesn't fall out, which doesn't sound like a top notch quality, but searching for you phone on a college campus sucks. I shorts have a straight fit to them, so they are going to hug your leg a little, but I find I still have great mobility. These are my go to shorts and I have yet to find a better cut. Also, I don't mind paying the price for these shorts because they last for a shockingly long time. Very happy with my purchase, the kilt is well made with durable materials I LOVE sleeveless turtlenecks and have not been able to find any for a long time.. i stumbled upon these- rolled the dice ...ordered a white, black and blue.. and WON! the only drawback is that they have a tendency to 'ride up' ~ but, the stunning, rich color, the softness of the material and more so the PERFECT turtleneck - not 'chokey' & VERY flattering - make up for the ride-up issue. SO HAPPY with my purchases ! So the shorts are nice maybe a little smaller than what I expected but not bad. Here's where it gets odd. The shorts show up and I decide to try them on. I feel something in the back pocket and figure it must be the tags that were nowhere to be found. Nope, it was four $1 bills. A few things could have happened. 1: Someone at Volcom was handing out presents, 2: someone at amazon was handing out presents, 3: someone wore these shorts out, got drunk, wedged $4 in the pocket forgot about and decided they didnt like the shorts and sent them back. I'm thinking #3 is most likely and I paid full price for returned shorts (although I guess I saved $4). Pretty strange. I really like these shorts. I love the length and comfort. Nice clothes A cheap alternative to expensive Carhartts. I purchased these specifically because with every Carhartt I've ever bought, they've always seemed to tear at the crotch long before the pants have actually worn out.I agree that Carhartts are long lasting workpants that can be used and abused, but these have exceeded my expectations.They are rather thin, but still durable and rip resistant, and all the extra pockets are useful when needed. Much like having 4x4 on a vehicle, you dont use them often, but when you need it, you'll be glad its there.The biggest thing I've noticed is their water-resistance. These will not replace your typical Rain Gear, but wow, you can completely soak these things in water and they will dry off very fast, they do not retain water whatsoever.Yes water penetrates themYes you will get wet underneath them.But if your occasionally coming in and out of the rain, or the day is just one of those days where it rains and stops and rains and stops, then these are perfect and you'll be glad you had them.Today, I was doing an epoxy-grout pour, and got completely covered in grout because I didnt want to wear tyvek pants in the hot weather, so I said screw it and just wore what I was wearing. After the pour, it was the end of the day so I figured I could just hose myself down and go home and change and only have to be wet for like a half hour. I grabbed the garden hose and just doused myself and got all the grout off my pants. I was soaked, I felt wet, and I felt gross... however, in the next 15 minutes before we actually left site, I was completely dry... Amazing. I love this cardigan. It’s so flattering & it arrived so quickly. Can’t wait to wear it to work.
