Little expensive, but great pants this is my second pair.First pair still going strong. I would buy more if they were cheaper. I work outside 70% of the time at my current job. I bought these for those days when its a mist to light spotty rain. They do deflect a good amount of LIGHT exposure to rain. When it pours I doubt they would keep you really dry and I have not put them to that test. I would be in wet pants the rest of the work day if they failed. During heavy rains, I don't work or I put on a rain suit.PROS-- Tough material that should stand up to abuse well. Also somewhat water resistant. --- Fit exactly as sized. I'm a 36w 32L in virtually every pant known, I ordered that size and it fit perfectly. ----Knee's are reinforced and have knee pad pockets. If you kneel at work, get the pads! I stuffed some off brand pads in to try out and they worked ok. ----- Cool pocket pouches that turn into instant light duty tool rigs. ------reinforced cuffs that should extend pant's lifeCONS ---So far only one and that is the material holds a static charge. I worked in a dirty persons house who had multiple shedding animals and had given up on vacuuming. I was covered in pet hair when I completed my job. I had to use 5 sheets on a lint roller to de-hair the pants. Something about the material makes hair, sawdust, regular dust and just about any air borne particle stick to them. I have only worn and washed them once, so maybe that will change, but I think it has something to do with the waterproofing of the fabric.I bought one pair to try out, I'll be buying more. Nice clothes They are cute in person, but they are so short that I ended up giving them to my 8, yes 8 year old daughter! She is of average height and weight. She’ll be able to wear them for a few years but they certainly are not sloppy on her right now Defective workmanship and/or material. I have had these 505 shorts, size 36, less than a month and they were ripping apart at the both back pocket areas, toward the middle of the shorts. I ironed on two blue jean patches on the inside, but it is difficult to get patches to stay on well. Then, this past weekend the crotch area ripped too while getting off of a boat.I have another pair of 505 shorts, in the same size, that I purchased several years ago that have been worn many, many times and they are not ripping anywhere - just normal wear.I believe Levi's has a quality problem. Since I purchased this pair of 505 shorts about 50 days ago I am now outside of the 30 day return period - Sad! Comfy, cozy, and soft. Love it! Might buy another one in a different color. This is a REALLY nice kilt. I'm a Utilikilt owner, and have owned the same one for 14 years. Being a different brand, this one feels just as nice as my UTkilt (fits better, since I'm much older now than when I bought the other). The fit is great, the cloth is not cheap or too thin, in fact it's just right for Phoenix, AZ weather. It's a tad bit long, but I knew going in that these were one length only, and that I'd have to get it hemmed. For a tall man, with average weight, it would be perfect. I am slightly short, so there's that.It looks great, my wife finds it dead sexy. For the single men out there, I will tell you as a long time kilt owner, this will get you dates. You get looks, questions from curious people, and yes, lots of complements. All in all, price is good, look is good, and it seems durable. The sweater is fantastic and fits as expected. Perfect product. The shorts fit great I have mixed feelings on this kilt. It's my first and I didn't know what to expect. But here's what I've found related to this one:* It's heavy. All cotton and not as light as I anticipated.* It comes with a bag of extra snaps. Never a good sign. It means they've had problems and done the math to know they can avoid further costs by just including a bag of snaps with each garment. No encouraging.* Fit is nice and has some flexibility. More than I anticipated. MEASURE CORRECTLY and it's hard to mess up. Put your tape measure just below your belly button.* It wrinkles. And sometimes badly. After a day of up and down, the wrinkles are pretty obvious. Washing it and leaving it to hang really doesn't help it. It still needs to be ironed which - as you might guess with a garment that has a gazillion pleats - is time consuming.* The length for me is a little long. Your mileage will vary, of course. I'm 5-9 on a good day and I'd prefer something a little shorter.* Quality so far has been fine. But I don't wear it as much as I'd like because of the wrinkles.
