I Wear 38 Jeans, bought 38 in shorts, but expected a loose fit. I think they will work. I don't know If I would have purchased these if I had tried them on. The "spandex" only stretches vertically. 2 WAY STRETCH, NOT 4 WAY.Beware, this is a listing for various models of Board and swim. The Board shorts were great, and the swim was embarrassing to wear as I had to Roll the Waistband to get them to stay up. Good fit I very much like the shorts as they fit and feel good. But I could not give a five star as I purposefully bought this pair as a belt was shown. The belt is not included. Nicely constructed, & comfortable. Excellent for outdoor activities or as sleep wear.. Make sure to order a size larger (ex: waist 38 select the 40-42 ) as they will shrink. howdy y'all,i've several problems with these. [*sigh ...*]very minor ...- apparently very unpredictable sizingi've a 35" waist so i ordered the 34" size. i'm VERY glad i didn't order the next size up as they would have gone from "somewhat loose" to 'falling off"- they have lots of meaningless, non-functional detailswould have preferred better quality over "oo-lookee"- everything about it feels flimsy and cheapmedium ...- the top pockets [the ones you put your hands in] are way too shorti can't get my entire hand in these pockets unless i fold my hand into a fist- the top pockets are made of some thin stretchy material. reminds me of what you find in swim suits. seems unlikely to last very long.major ...- the zipper is cheapnot just inexpensive ... really, really cheap.=== i have to pull down on the bottom of the zipper to be able to get it to zip up=== it doesn't zip smoothly. instead it seems to almost snag as you zip or unzip it=== the pull tab [the part you use to pull it up or down] is so thin that i can flex it with two fingersi will not buy another of these. [*sigh ...*]rated a TWO since it is well below what i expected, but not _quite_ bad enuf for a ONE.take care,lee nice for performance, fit is cool 6″,160lbs ordered 4(M) Great quality These are really good shorts. I will definitely buy another pair or two. I wish they had a little more flex in them though. With that being said I still enjoy them and love the length of them as well. I’m actually using these as a costume for Halloween. Going as Michael Myers so I ordered mine in navy blue. Ordered size 44 based on what other reviews were saying. It fits really good. I’m 5’11 215 lbs and these fit almost perfect. Great quality My first sweater shawl. It fits me well as I am 5'2. The color is true to the picture. I haven't found any other ones that I like the looks of yet, but this one I love. 2nd pair ordered and received. Like the weight for summer golf.
